Night Out with Nature – “BEAVERS: you can’t make an omelet without breaking the eggs first.” with Bill Curtis. Adults – spend your evening at Cromwell Valley Park and enjoy our guest speaker and dessert. Bill Curtis is a Ranger with the National Park Service, and a Maryland Master Naturalist. He has worked in five different National Parks over his career, serving as an interpreter, law enforcement officer, and now is assigned to resources management. He is a happily married father of two. The talk will explore the role of beavers in the ecosystem. Many people see beavers as destructive, but is there more to the story? Bill will explore this question using beavers in Cromwell Valley Park as an example. Individuals $10/ Couples $15. Sherwood House
